Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Raquel's Kitchen ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our food delivery services, table reservations, website, mobile applications, and any other related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.

1. Eligibility
1.1. Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
1.2. Account Registration: To access certain features of our Services, you may need to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information as necessary to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

 

2. Services Provided
2.1. Food Delivery: We offer food delivery services free of charge for up to 5 miles. Additional fees will apply for food delivery greater than a 5-mile radius. The availability of delivery areas may vary based on your location.
2.2. Delivery Time: We aim to deliver your order within the estimated delivery time provided at checkout. However, delivery times are estimates, and we do not guarantee delivery within any specific time frame.
2.3. Order Acceptance: All orders placed through our Services are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to the unavailability of items, errors in pricing or product descriptions, or issues identified by our fraud detection team.

 

3. Table Reservations and Deposits
3.1. Party Size and Deposits: For table reservations for parties of more than 10 people, a deposit of £10 per person will be charged at the time of booking.
3.2. Reservation Cancellations: If you need to cancel your table reservation, you must do so at least 48 hours before the scheduled time of the party.
3.3. Non-Refundable Deposits: If a reservation for a party of over 10 people is cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled time, or in the event of a no-show, the £10 per person deposit is strictly non-refundable.

 

4. Pricing and Payment
4.1. Pricing: The prices listed on our platform are correct, reflect the product, and are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to ensure price accuracy, but errors may occur. If there is a pricing error, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed with the order at the correct price or cancel your order.
4.2. Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and digital wallets. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of your order or deposit, including any applicable taxes, delivery fees, and tips.
4.3. Payment Processing: Payment processing services are provided by third-party payment processors. By submitting your payment information, you agree to the terms and conditions of these third-party payment processors where applicable.

 

5. Cancellation and Refunds (Food Orders)
5.1. Order Cancellations: You may cancel your food order within a certain time frame as specified in our cancellation policy. Once an order has been prepared or is out for delivery, it cannot be canceled.
5.2. Refunds: Refunds for food orders may be issued at our discretion based on the circumstances, such as order errors, quality issues, or non-delivery. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact our customer service team.
5.3. Non-Refundable Items: Certain items, such as custom or special orders, may not be eligible for refunds. (Note: Table reservation deposits are governed separately under Section 3).

 

6. Intellectual Property
6.1. Ownership: All content and materials included in our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, are the property of the Company or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
6.2. License: Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use.
6.3. Restrictions: You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the content or materials available through our Services, except as permitted by these Terms.

 

7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. No Warranties: Our Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
7.2. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

 

8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time at our sole discretion. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website or through other means. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

 

9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Services, without notice and without liability, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent activity.
